On my second visit to Kuala Lumpur, I realized that the Malaysian government has concentrated a lot on developing tourism.
The places which were boring and not so appealing previously looked very attractive this time.
Here are few such places which I found worthy to be on Instagram.
1. KLCC PARK
Located just behind Suria KLCC mall, this park offers a unique view of Petronas twin towers. It converts into a fairyland at night with its beautiful musical fountain show.
2. KL Bird Park
KL bird park is the world’s largest free-flight walk-in aviary. With birds flying and walking around everywhere, this park offers a lot of spots to click pictures. I personally like waterfalls aviary.
3. Batu Caves
When I visited this cave back in 2017, it was more of a Hindu temple and not a tourist attraction. On the contrary now in 2019, it was a perfect Instagram worthy spot.
4.Perdana Botanical garden
It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful gardens I have ever been to. Amidst the concrete jungle of KL here is a quite picture-perfect spot.
5. Merdeka Square
6. The infinite pool at Face suites
Timing is the key while you plan to take a dip in this pool. Being one of the super famous locations, its always crowded. Early mornings would be the best time to visit.
7. Canopy walk at KL forest eco-park
Though Kuala Lumpur has some of the best skyscrapers in the world, it respects and realizes the importance of maintaining forest and greenery. Canopy walk inside KL forest eco-park is one the most beautiful walks you can take within city limits.
8. Stone Henge at Science park
This is kind of an offbeat spot. When you take a stroll from National Planetarium towards KL bird park, you find it on your left-hand side.
9. Thean Hou Temple
Located at an elevated spot this temple offers a different perspective of the city. Every corner of this temple is picture-worthy.
If you know some other spots which need to be added to this list, let me know in the comments below.
